Nursing is not for everybody. You may think that all a nurse does is check patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and weight, and nothing more; however, this profession often requires long and tedious hours. To be a nurse, you need to be a quick learner, and possess the ability to work under pressure. A nurse is essentially a doctor’s right hand man. If a doctor could have 10 hands, they wouldn’t need a nurse, but they do not and nurses are needed to provide the doctors assistance. Because there are many types of doctors, there are many different specialties a nurse may pursue. Each a nurse specialty, requires different set of skills and personality; however, since there are so many specialties you can be, there going to be something you enjoy.
